| A general survey of the common diseases of the aged people was carried out among 191,409 individuals from 9 sections of 7 districts and an area of Harbin in 1982. Six thousands three hundreds and ninety three old persons aged 60 years and over were all given an thorough physical examinations. The prevalence rate of each kind of the common diseases among them was computed.Distribution of the diseases wa sanalysed by the area they lived in, their age, sex and occupation. In addition, appropriate preventive measures were suggested. |
